Counselling for Adults in West London, Beaconsfield & Henley-on-Thames
Hello and welcome. I’m Noor, a professionally qualified and experienced counsellor offering online counselling and in-person therapy for adults aged 18+ across West London W5, Beaconsfield HP9 and Henley-on-Thames RG9.
With over eight years’ experience, I have supported people from a wide range of cultural backgrounds and walks of life. I work with people who may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, uncertain, disconnected from themselves, or struggling to make sense of what they are experiencing.
This might be during a difficult period in a relationship, or following a break-up or loss, through changes at work or in midlife, or when questions around identity, culture, belonging or life direction begin to feel more important. It may also be a time when you are questioning yourself, finding it difficult to understand your feelings, or feeling unsure about what you want or how to move forward.
I have a particular interest in supporting people navigating cultural and identity issues, displacement, relationship difficulties, break-ups, work-related challenges and midlife changes. These experiences can bring up a lot to process; whether you are trying to understand what has happened, make sense of how you feel, reconnect with yourself, or consider how you might move forward.
If difficult emotions or experiences are affecting your sense of self and your relationships, therapy can offer a space to pause, reflect and make sense of what is happening or what has happened. I provide a warm and confidential space where you can speak about what matters to you, without judgement or pressure.
How Therapy can help
By setting a regular time with a caring professional, counselling can help you:
Work through difficult experiences, emotions and challenges
Better understand your thoughts, feelings and reactions
Develop self-awareness and recognise patterns that may no longer feel helpful
Explore your needs, boundaries and relationships
Navigate relationship difficulties, separation and break-ups
Process loss, grief and significant changes
Navigate midlife transitions and periods of uncertainty
Explore cultural, identity and belonging concerns
Reflect on work-related difficulties
Consider changes or uncertainty around your career and working life
Draw on your own strengths and resources
Reflect on how your family, culture, community and wider society shape your experiences
I take a person-centred and collaborative approach. My intention is to offer a space that is curious and patient, where you can explore your experiences without agenda or expectations. Together, we can explore your thoughts, feelings, fears and hopes at a pace that feels right for you.
I also pay attention to what happens between us in the therapy space, as this can sometimes offer valuable insight into how you relate to yourself and others. Our relationship in counselling can become part of the process of understanding yourself and exploring different ways of relating.
